For the opening gala of his Robertson Boulevard studios in 1956, Tony Duquette created a magical environment in the ballroom with ballet and music and these designs for a chandelier, sconce and table lamp. The Splashing Water fixtures invoke the form of fountains, their rushing arcs of drops suspended in mid-air against a body of undulating wave-forms. These fixtures are finished with a body color and an accent color, which can all be reversed.
